Full job description
Spectrum for Living is a not for profit organization, which provides barrier-free residential facilities and day program facilities, medical/nursing, psychological, recreational, vocational/educational, dietary, psychological, social and therapeutic services. Respite, family support services, Adult Training Centers are also provided for persons with physical and developmental disabilities.
The Director of Behavioral Services provides direct supervision, mentorship, and development to behavioral staff, ensuring that all services reflect best practices, professionalism and mission-driven standards.
- Supervision and guide RBTs and Behavior Specialists to promote consistent high quality service delivery.
- Provide regular evaluations, feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and accountability.
- Maintain staff certification records, and ensure compliance with renewal and training requirements.
- Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and billing processes to align with agency financial goals
Requirements:
- Valid Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- ABA License
- Masters degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a behavioral or clinical setting.
- Experience supporting individuals with IDD and autism in diverse environments.
Job Functions:
- Executive Exempt, 40-hour position
- Travel to different locations travel involved
- Oversight of RBT's and Behavior Specialist
- Responsible for the coordinator & delivery of psychological services to include, but not limited to evaluation, development, and implementation of individually prescribed behavior management plans.
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
