Enjoyable but otherwise basic work environment

The work at the home depot is not difficult by any means and if you are decent at learning on your feet and have an associate or two to depend on in your earlier days, you will generally pick up things quickly but some people may struggle without a direct training period. Home Depot has changed alot since I first started working there.

Home Depot has made a lot of changes since I first started working there. The general overall practices are not as stressful and the way of doing things has gotten better. Also the scheduling has got better....Show more

Don’t do it!

Home Depot now employs a “skeleton crew” business model, scheduling less associates and requiring the other employees to do the job of two and sometimes three (in the event of callouts) people. Would not recommend. ...Show more
