Posting a Job Directly on Indeed
Job posts on Indeed allow employers to advertise their open positions to a wide audience of potential applicants. When you post a job on Indeed, it becomes visible to job seekers, who can then apply for the role. This article explains how to post a job and what to do if issues come up.
There are two ways to post a job:
- Directly on Indeed
- From your career site or Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Posting a job on Indeed
- Sign up for an employer account or sign in to your existing account.
- Navigate to your employer dashboard.
- Select Jobs from the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Click or tap Post a job at the top right of the screen.
Sponsoring Your Job
Sponsor your job so it shows up more often in search results. This makes it easier for job seekers to apply.
Technical support
Issue: I can't see my job post or the status is "Pending."
Solution: After you post a job, our Trust & Safety team will review it. Until then, your job won't appear in search results. Once it's approved, you'll receive a job post confirmation email. Make sure emails from do-not-reply@indeed.com aren't going to your junk or spam folder.
Issue: My job says "Flagged" and isn't visible to job seekers.
