Money in the bank (via bank transfer)

Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)

Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)

Indeed’s equity-based incentive program.

In 2021, Indeed began offering Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) as a way to reward employees who contribute to the long-term success of Indeed.

RSUs are equity-based incentives issued by an employer in the form of company stock shares. At Indeed, our RSUs are stock shares in our parent company, Recruit Holdings, which is traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in Japan (6098.T).

Our RSU long-term incentive program has three goals in mind:

  • To encourage employees to think like owners
  • To align incentives with company performance
  • To reward employees for the company’s financial success

Retirement

401(k)

401(k)

Prepare yourself for retirement.

The sooner you begin saving, the more money you will have available to retire. Starting down the path to saving for your retirement is easier than you think:

• Enroll in the 401(k) plan with Fidelity
• Indeed matches 100% of the first 5% you contribute
• Immediate vesting
• Contribute up to the IRS maximum contribution limits each year
• 401(k) deductions come out of regular earnings, including base salary, quarterly bonus, and commissions

In addition, you can speak with a representative about rolling over an existing 401(k) to your new Indeed account.

Life Insurance

Life Insurance

Peace of mind for the people in your life.

All Indeed employees are eligible for basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits:

  • Life: 100% company-paid / 2x annual salary benefit amount
  • AD&D: 2x annual salary benefit if death is the result of an accident (this is in addition to basic life insurance)

Employees can also opt-in for optional life and voluntary AD&D benefits, which are paid for by the employee:

  • Can be elected in increments of $50,000 up to a maximum of $1M
  • If electing more than $350,000 or 3 times your annual base salary (whichever is less), you may be asked to provide Evidence of Insurability
  • Dependent life insurance can be elected in increments of $25,000 up to $500,000 for a spouse and $10,000 for each child

You can elect this benefit at any time. However, if you waive coverage within your first 30 days, then any amount elected (even if less than $350,000) will require medical review through Evidence of Insurability.

Short and Long Term Disability

Short and Long Term Disability

Financial support when the need arises.

Indeedians in need of short term disability can qualify for coverage:

100% of your current base earnings for 3 weeks, then 60% of your current base earnings with a total benefit period of 12 weeks. You must be disabled for 7 days before short term disability benefits are payable
If you are still disabled after receiving 12 weeks of short-term disability benefits, you are eligible for long-term disability.

60-66.67% of your current base earnings up to $12,500 per month with a benefit period up to age 65. You must be disabled for the entire short-term disability period before long-term disability benefits are payable.
Employees are eligible on their first day of hire.
