The process emphasizes real-world scenarios and measurable outcomes, with a focus on how candidates prioritize work, engage clients, and perform in a high-volume sales environment.

Core Interview Round

The core interview round is a single extended interview that combines a Hiring Manager component, a competency-based component, and a mock call exercise.

  • Hiring Manager Component
This component focuses on your sales execution experience and readiness for the SBS role. You’ll discuss your background, how you manage high-volume workflows, prioritize tasks, and maintain momentum across a sales pipeline. We’ll also explore your approach to engaging customers, handling objections, and consistently meeting performance goals.
  • Competency-Based Component
This component evaluates your ability to achieve targets, manage pipelines, prioritize effectively, pitch and close deals, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. You should be prepared to share your motivation for joining Indeed, your interest in SBS, and how your values align with our mission.
  • Mock Call Component
The mock call is a short 5–7 minute role-play conversation designed to reflect real SBS client interactions. You will lead the discussion by setting a clear agenda, uncovering client needs through qualifying questions, handling objections, and recommending solutions. You’ll be assessed on rapport-building, urgency, influence, and your ability to drive toward a clear next step.
