• Investigating and compiling Customs Issues for exportation to Worldwide Countries
• Determine commodity HS Code, duty rate and proper description for some imported apparels, materials / accessories
• Working with Customs Broker to obtain binding ruling for import products for EU, UK, USA and Canada
• Liaise and coordinate with accounting department and customer services for customs related enquiries
• Provide import customs requirements to customer service representative, and/or customers directly
• Maintain data base system with update product customs data such as MID#, HS Code, Category #, full description etc
• Handle Customs Exam and provide all necessary additional information
• Deal with customer’s forwarder and broker for shipment to EU, UK, USA, International and provide MID details for shipment customers clearance

Others:

• Train, guide and maintaining Freight & Logistics team to ensure performances are met
• Responsible for the overall Freight & Logistics service level , cost efficiency and effectiveness
• Liaise with Director of Import and Logistic to manage special freight and logistics projects as and when assigned by senior management.
• Assist VP of Supply chain with effective and efficient logistic management operation to meet company goals and objectives.
• Other duties as directed and handle special projects as requested by top management.

Requirements
· Bachelors or Master’s degree in Logistic or Supply Chain Management preferred.

· 5-10 years of international freight management experience

· 10 years of experience in a management role within Import/Export air and ocean freight operation

· Direct working knowledge of transportation processes and documentation including applicable safety and transportation law.

· Working knowledge of International Import/Export Shipping & Documentation

· Strong negotiation skills and Excellent verbal and written communication

· Strong working knowledge of storage, packing and shipping techniques

· Must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills in order to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners both internal and external

· Traffic or customs experience would be an asset

· 3PL Operations, Warehouse, and Transportation experience is preferred

· The ability to work effectively with multiple groups to drive goals.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Extremely organized with excellent follow-up and prioritization skills

· Computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, database software knowledge preferred
