Really depends on your management
Guest Service Team Leader (Former Employee) – Reston, VA – February 1, 2017
The company is rolling downhill in regards to it's requirements for management. In order to be salaried, you need to have a bachelor's degree. There were people who were ridiculously misplaced as managers at a retail establishment. They had never worked retail, and do not get their hands dirty. Its a ridiculous show you have to put on to keep your job. Suck up to your management team, its a popularity contest.
The whole red card business is unnecessary. You can see your customers visually upset when you start to sign up the person ahead of them in line. Red cards are a contest as well, so if you are a cashier, you are also selling lines of credit.
If you work on the sales floor, expect to work at least half your shift at the front on a register, because the management up front doesn't know how to manage their own people and deal with lines efficiently. You are paid poorly, and expected to stay after your shift if you close. Also, you must find your own red shirts to wear (not that its that big of a deal.)
Overall, I really wouldn't recommend it.
Simple work, benefits are decent, 10% discount
poor work environment, inexperienced management
