ATS Sync uses iCIMS’ Apply Network, iCIMS’ latest architectural evolution, to enable Indeed Apply. Indeed Apply allows job seekers to apply directly on Indeed from their preferred device rather than being redirected to an external career site.

This solution is built on the iCIMS Apply Network, a system that enables employers to create, manage and distribute job application questions across participating job sites from within iCIMS.

With the iCIMS Apply Network for Indeed, iCIMS users can now configure their application questions directly in the ATS, ensuring that all completed applications flow smoothly from Indeed into iCIMS without extra steps.

• Job Sync: Open jobs in iCIMS are automatically published on Indeed.
• Indeed Apply Sync: Every iCIMS job is powered by Indeed Apply, letting candidates easily apply from any device.

• Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance questions are incorporated into job postings to help maintain regulatory compliance.
• Expanded profile fields from iCIMS sync with Indeed to ensure that additional job-related details are accurately reflected.

Data Synced from Indeed to iCIMS:

• Job applications submitted through Indeed are automatically synced into iCIMS.

Future releases will include integrations, translations and variable question objects. If you don’t see Indeed in the setup, reach out to your iCIMS representative to request activation.
2. Complete setup in Indeed’s Integration Hub: Log in to your Indeed Employer Dashboard, navigate to the Integrations Hub and finalize the installation.

Candidate Sync is another integration offered with Indeed and iCIMS.* Smart Sourcing helps you instantly match and connect with quality candidates who fit your job criteria from our pool of millions of job seekers and Candidate Sync allows those prospects to flow directly to your ATS.

• Smart Sourcing uses the power of AI to help you save valuable time so you can extend offers faster than the competition.
• When you post a job and it goes live, matching technology gets to work and instantly delivers a shortlist of matched candidates based on information collected from the job seeker, such as skills, experience and preferences.
• From there, you can evaluate your list with AI- powered candidate summaries that highlight skills and gaps so you can quickly decide if they’re a good fit. If they are, you can then use editable AI-generated messages to quickly reach out to the candidates you want to meet.

Is there a cost associated with the SmartSourcing for Candidate Sync Integration?

Indeed Candidate Sync requires a professional subscription to Indeed Smart Sourcing, and only profiles of candidates who confirm interest will be transferred. US-based employers can contact their Indeed representative for more information.

Note: Smart Sourcing is not required to use the ATS Sync.

There is no cost to enable Candidate Sync (Indeed Smart Sourcing) within iCIMS, but it does require a Professional Services statement of work (SOW). Contact your iCIMS Account Manager if you’re interested in enabling Indeed Smart Sourcing within your iCIMS ATS.

Is Smart Sourcing the same as Candidate Sync?

Smart Sourcing is its own product that uses Candidate Sync for feature enablement of Smart Sourcing. Candidate sync is the integration that enables additional functionality of Smart Sourcing.

What locations is this integration available in?

This integration currently only supports jobs posted in the US. Support for non-English and jobs posted outside of the US will become available to customers in 2026.

Will there be any impact on my existing job postings on Indeed?

Your organic job postings won’t be affected. However, if you’re currently sponsoring jobs on Indeed, you might experience some temporary disruptions in your sponsorship status depending on how your campaigns are set up.

Once you’re onboarded, it’s a good idea to review your sponsorship campaigns and consult with an Indeed Client Success Representative to make sure everything is up-to-date and running smoothly.

When you enable Disposition Sync, iCIMS sends hiring signals to Indeed that helps us fine tune candidate matching so you’ll get better matches for your roles. Active updates can earn you a  Responsive Employer Badge, which boosts visibility and engagement.
