What does a Store Shopper do?
Store Shoppers work as both full-service shoppers and in-store shoppers. Full-service shoppers accept shopping orders via shopping apps, shop for listed groceries, process orders through checkout and use their personal vehicles to deliver orders to customer locations. In-store shoppers do not deliver orders. They access orders through shopping service apps, process and pack the items at checkout and then pass the completed orders on to a designated driver for delivery.
In addition to shopping app services, some stores employ internal shoppers who prepare orders for delivery. When the orders are ready, drivers hired directly by the stores use designated delivery trucks to complete deliveries.
Store Shopper skills and qualifications
Store Shoppers are often required to complete multiple orders at numerous stores within short time frames, so punctuality and flexibility are essential. A successful candidate should also possess the following skills and qualifications to excel as a Store Shopper:

However, certain stores that directly hire internal shoppers may require that all applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
