Marketing Managers, Social Media Managers and Influencer Managers can also make a smooth transition into the role of Talent Management. However, a recent graduate with a degree in a related field might be able to start as an intern or Junior Talent Manager and work their way up.

To become a Senior Talent Manager, professionals may benefit from having around four years of experience. A postgraduate degree in marketing, public relations or management can provide the additional skills and knowledge necessary for a senior role.
