Conduct pre-interviews with customers to help build rapport and gather information that will help you present the products the dealership has to offer
Offer exceptional customer service to clients by presenting the product menu to every customer while explaining extended service information and aftermarket products that supplement their automotive investment and increase dealership profitability.
Maintain current knowledge of all finance and lease programs and disseminate information to sales and finance team members promptly, including management of the F&I team.

Position Sumary:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Corporate Finance Manager is a key functional expert in the organization and is responsible for all corporate finance and accounting activities. This includes consolidating financials results, monthly forecasting, managing the Annual Operating Plan, tax and accounting principal guidance, treasury management and credit management. This role will lead through influence and provide guidance, support and assistance to the Business Unit finance teams. Further extending the impact of the role on the organization, the Corporate Finance Manager will support financial aspects of M&A including integration work. In addition, the Corporate Finance Manager will be relied on by the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to ensure integrity and accuracy of the financials as well as speed and efficiency of data management, financial reporting and continuous improvement in data analytics and reporting. Along with supporting the Operating Companies VPs of Finance, the Corporate Finance Manager will also be responsible for designing, managing and executing a global internal controls framework.

This role will be based out of our office in Troy, Michigan with the flexibility of working remotely from time to time.

Position Responsibilities:

The following include key functions of the role, but are not limited to:

Oversees all corporate accounting and finance functions and activities including treasury management, reporting and analysis, and financial consolidation.
Manages and completes the month, quarter and year-end close and assures adherence to US GAAP and completes reconciliations of balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy of our financial records
Reviews/Prepares monthly financial reports and communicates significant variances on a timely basis, including coordinating adjustments when needed
Manages credit compliance and all external reporting
Plan and coordinate the activities related to the annual budget and monthly forecasting process
Coordinates periodic financial reviews/audits with outside audit and tax firms as required
Provides all necessary information to outside accountants in conjunction with the filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for the business and trusts
Develops recommendations and implements improvements to internal controls processes striving to build a more robust Accounting and Finance department
Participate as a strategic business partner on cross functional teams to help drive organization efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement
Supports M&A activities including due diligence, Q of E work, purchase price accounting, and integration
Responsible for managing the Financial Consolidation software
Leads process improvement projects across Finance, Accounting, and IT
Provides accounting and financial guidance to Operating Companies and CFO including developing accounting talent in the organization

Position Qualifications:

5-10 years of financial experience (in a manufacturing environment preferred)
2-4 years of Supervisory experience preferred
Advanced manufacturing accounting knowledge and skills
Previous financial consolidation software experience (Hyperion, Adaptive, etc.) preferred
Able to manage multiple projects with varying but stringent deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with various levels of the organization
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills

Requires near and far vision with frequent viewing of computer screen
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
Will need to occasionally go out to the plant floor (safety glasses area)
