Principal Duties

• Patrol the exterior and interior of the mall by foot, vehicle, and/or bicycle. Demonstrate proficiency in the practical knowledge of the mall and its systems
• Promote a positive image of the mall and its tenants by exercising exceptional courtesy, a professional demeanor, wearing the correct uniform and any required PPE
• Submit timely and accurate reports on any unusual incidents, tenant violations, workplace hazards, and suspicious activity
• Respond to requests for service from tenants, vendors, and shoppers
• Summon proper authorities in response to confrontational situations. Observe, report, and keep authorities advised of the situation until they arrive at the scene
• Conduct investigations to gather relevant information to include in incident reports
• Other related duties as assigned

Specific Duties




1. Patrol interior and exterior of mall while remaining vigilant

a. Remain visible during shift

b. May be required to perform required number of tours

c. Perform daily checks of property boundaries



2. Operate and maintain computer workstation

a. May learn and operate ReportExec

b. Keep directories and file structure organized

c. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel




3. Be able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned



4. Operate and maintain Public Safety equipment to include, but not limited to, battery boost box, fire extinguishers, Morse Watchman scanners, computer, flashlights, radios, keys, and training materials



5. Complete daily paperwork each shift to include, but not limited to, Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Open/Close Violations, Light Pole Inspections, and Vehicle Inspections



6. Perform basic customer service functions as needed and perform operations including, but not limited to, issuing strollers, answering phones, sending faxes, making copies, and operating cash register



7. Report violations contained in the Merchant Manual and include same in Daily Activity Reports



8. Respond to disturbances in the mall



9. Deliver mail and memos as directed by the Mall Office



10. Verify COI s for vendors observed working in and around mall



11. Assist customers in the Stage Area

a. Open PA system upon customer arrival

b. Assist with setup/teardown of AV equipment

c. Ensure PA system locked after customer departure



12. Report wet floor areas leaks and liquid spills



13. Assist in finding missing children and parents



14. Remove unauthorized signage in and around mall common areas and exterior areas



15. Unlock mall at the precise opening time and lock the mall at the precise closing time



16. Report Public Safety Hazards to include, but not limited to, potholes, major cracks or damage, malfunctioning equipment, unserviceable traffic signs, and exposed wiring



17. Other related duties as assigned

Role - Security Engineer (Rust, PKI, Crypto)

Key Responsibilities:

• Rust Development: Develop secure and efficient software using the Rust programming language. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Security Protocols: Design and implement security protocols for authentication, encryption, digital signatures, and key exchange. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI): Design, deploy, and manage PKI solutions, including certificate authorities, certificate revocation lists, and certificate management systems.
• Cryptography: Implement cryptographic algorithms and protocols to secure data at rest and in transit. Perform cryptographic key management and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Security Analysis: Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in software and systems. Develop and implement security controls and countermeasures to mitigate risks.
• Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and user guides. Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, security analysts, and system administrators, to integrate security into the software development lifecycle. Provide guidance and support on security best practices and principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in the Rust programming language and experience with its ecosystem (Cargo, crates, etc.).
• Solid understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts and implementations.
• Proficiency in cryptographic algorithms and protocols (e.g., RSA, ECC, TLS, SSL).
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques (e.g., penetration testing, static analysis, fuzz testing).
